– Well, you can’t say either level of body armor is better than the other because their use and effectiveness depend on several factors. Both level 3 and level 4 body armor is designed to stop rifle calibers. Level 3 body armor is rated to stop rifle rounds up to .308 Winchester, or 7.62 NATO.
